Range and Rentals

We are a public range, you do not need a membership to shoot here.

Whether you’re a novice practicing the fundamentals of shooting, a seasoned shooter sharpening your skills, or simply looking to enjoy a day on the range, our facility offers an unparalleled shooting experience. Facilities

Red Dot Training Range offers a 7 lane indoor shooting range featuring automated target carriers and a generous 25 yard length. Lanes are available on a first-come first-serve basis.

Lane Prices

You can rent a lane at our indoor range for a reasonable hourly fee. Fees are shown below and are subject to change.

  • $20 per hour per lane ($5 for additional shooter on same lane)
  • $10 per hour per lane for shooters that are 65 or older.
  • Ladies night is every Tuesday – ladies shoot for $10 an hour.
  • First Responder Friday – All first responders shoot for FREE – no range fee.

Firearm Rentals

Whether you don’t have a firearm, want to try out some firearms before purchasing one, or simply want the opportunity to shoot a variety of firearms, we’ve got you covered with our firearm rentals.

Note: Firearm rentals are available at the discretion of management, and requests for rentals are not guaranteed and may be declined at any time for any reason. Machine gun rentals are only available to patrons who’ve demonstrated competency in firearm handling.

Permitted Firearms and Ammunition

At Red Dot Training Range, you can shoot most firearms. Use of incendiary or tracer ammunition is not allowed, nor is bird-shot in shotguns.

NOTICE REGARDING CALIBER RESTRICTIONS: Due to township noise ordinances, we’re currently limited to allowing .223/5.56 and below on our range (7.62X39 is also allowed and shotgun still allowed). That means no full-power rifle cartridges like .308, .30-06, etc., for the time being. We appreciate your understanding while we work within these restrictions.

Rules and Waiver

Proper range etiquette and safety are paramount for your well-being and that of those around you. Please review our waiver, which outlines the range rules in detail. Non-compliance may result in immediate removal from the range without refund. Thank you for prioritizing safety at Red Dot Training Range.

  1. You are only permitted to have a firearm in your hand at the firing line.
  2. Ear and eye protection must be worn at all times, inside of the range. 
  3. All firearms must be pointed down range at all times.                   
  4. All firearms must be placed at the firing line immediately upon entering the range. 
  5. You may not keep any firearms at the rear tables. No exceptions.
  6. Firearms are only to be loaded at the firing line. 
  7. Ammunition must be kept at the rear tables.                  
  8. If you experience a firearm malfunction, you must immediately set your firearm down, pointing down range, and seek out an employee. DO NOT bring it to the front counter. DO NOT attempt to clear it on your own. 
  9. Guns may only be moved between lanes when unloaded and in a case. 

Red Dot Training Range will assess a minimum $50-$100 fee, should you damage any property of this range. Additionally, you may be required to take a firearm safety class before using this facility again.
